Help give my Dad an amazing send off to Heaven
Donation protected
Hello everyone. This is not a post I had wanted to make, ever. My father, Ed Stolarski, was born on October 29, 1942, and passed away on September 26, 2022 after a long battle with many illnesses. He passed peacefully in the hospital with my mother, his constant companion and wife of 34 years (together for 42), right by his side.
My father lived through so many struggles that by all accounts could have taken him from us so many times, but he was like a cat- seemingly having an endless number of lives to live. That being said, he had no funeral plans in place and we are left scrambling to put together a service worthy of the extraordinary life he lived and the incredible man he was. Dad wanted his final journey to be simple. He wished to be cremated. He did not want much pomp and circumstance surrounding his funeral. My mother and I would like to have a viewing and small service for him before his cremation in addition to a luncheon so we can all gather to celebrate him one last time.
We do not have much in the way of funds to cover this. We will pool together whatever we can, but times are a bit difficult for an unplanned expense such as this. We will utilize whatever options we can to make this less of a financial burden to bear, such as veterans’ benefits (my Dad was honorably discharged from the United States Army), credit, and whatever other options are available to us from our chosen funeral home in this time. That being said, any help you can provide in this horrible time would be greatly appreciated. Just to make moving forward a little bit easier. I humbly thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading this far and even considering donating to this fund.
With a heavy heart,
Amber Stolarski
