Help give Murray a voice
Donation protected
11 year old Murray has a very rare chromosome disorder which affects him in many ways including being nonverbal.
At school he had been using Eye Gaze technology to help him communicate. The sessions saw him become more aware of cause and effect activities and he had clearly been loving using it.
Sadly the equipment was outdated and no longer worked meaning Murray and lots of other children were missing out.
Although he's now in his last few months at Sanderson's Wynd Primary School we wanted to be able to thank the school for all the support it's given Murray over the years by helping fund a replacement Eye Gaze and make sure other children coming through the school for years to come also had the opportunity to benefit from the technology - We are delighted that that funding is now in place.
The next goal is to raise enough for Murray to have one at home too.
As parents, we'd love to know what he's thinking, even if it turns out to be "Dad your jokes are rubbish"
It's a big ask but hopefully we can help give Murray a bit of a voice.
Thanks for reading this...

Here's a couple of videos that give you an eye dea (sorry Murray was right) idea, as to how life changing this could be
