My name is Cristina, and I am the daughter of my beloved and wonderful mother, Mónica Rivera.

My mother bravely battled cancer for the past three years. She fought with everything she had, right up until the very end. On September 28, 2025, she passed away peacefully, surrounded by her daughters and loved ones.

If you knew my mom, you knew that her daughters were her whole world. She sacrificed so much and gave us everything she could. When she was first diagnosed in 2021, she began making preparations for her funeral. She told us, "No quiero que mis hijas batallen" — "I don’t want my daughters to struggle." And true to her word, she made sure everything was taken care of.

Over the past few days, I’ve received so many kind messages, and one question keeps coming up: “Is there anything I can do for you?”
