My name is Justine, and I’m raising money for end of life care for my senior dog, Momma Oats

I adopted Momma in March 2018 when she was 4 or 5 years old from New York Bully Crew. She’s been with me through break ups, moving across the country, getting married, and having my first baby. Now she’s 12 or 13, and her health has deteriorated

Yesterday, March 16, my husband, Fred, rushed her to an emergency vet in Wheat Ridge due to lethargy, breathing difficulties and refusal to eat

The vet did an ultrasound, and discovered abnormalities in her lungs, as well as a 2-3cm mass on her spleen. The mass could be cancerous or benign, but requires surgery for confirmation. Without surgery, the mass can rupture.

Given her age, we are opting to not do surgery, and instead giving her a peaceful end to her life with euthanasia.

I’m raising this money so we can get her euthanized, and pay for her aquamation (an eco friendly alternative to cremation).
