Meatball is my old lab boy who just turned 14. Watching him struggle to move around has been heartbreaking, and I know it’s time to let him go peacefully. He’s always been such a kind and loving companion, and making this decision is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. Even writing this is difficult, but I want to do what’s best for him.
Because Meatball is a big boy, I worry that a car ride to the vet could be dangerous and stressful for him. I want his last moments to be peaceful at home, in the fields of Columbia Falls where he feels safe and loved. That’s why I’m starting this fundraiser—to help cover the cost of at-home euthanasia, so Meatball can pass away surrounded by comfort and familiarity, not fear or confusion.
Anyone willing to help is truly supporting Meatball. I just want my boy to have a happy, peaceful goodbye. Anything helps, and words can’t express how thankful I am for your kindness. Thank you for helping give Meatball the gentle sendoff he deserves.
