My father was diagnosed with stage 2 pancreatic cancer on July 20 the day of his grandsons birthday he under went surgery to remove the tumor off of his pancreas, we were told the surgery was successful and he was released from the hospital and told he didn’t have anymore cancer cells in his body. My father woke up 5 days later feeling dizzy with a fever of 103 he went back to the hospital where they ran some test they said he had an infection they did a scan on him and notice the cancer was in the liver with multiple tumors, the doctors said they made a mistake and would not have done the surgery if they saw the tumors and that my father has 2 months to live without chemo and could live a year with chemo. My dad stayed in the hospital for 2 weeks after that visit was released for 2 days and back in the hospital for 1 week released for 1 day and back in the hospital, my dad was in the hospital 53 days in the last 60 days, he finally received chemo which made him even more sick my dad was released home to me in Sacramento under 24 hour care when he became extremely sick and went back to hospital in San Francisco
my dad returned to my home after a week in the hospital where he was released on hospice after leaving the hospital on Sunday the doctor called me Monday morning and told me he has a blood clot in his leg and when it pops the fluid can travel to his lungs this caused my dads leg to swell and restricted his mobility my dad has been at my house for 2 weeks and he transitioned on October 21,2021 , He has insurance which only covers burial just looking for assistance to put him away nice he deserves it . My dad really wanted to live. My dad was a great father, son and brother and he was special to a lot of people. Thank you in advance. Anything helps.
