My name is Lee Hutchinson, and I am raising funds on behalf of Kole and his family.

Kole was born on 4 July 2024, weighing a perfect 7lb 8oz.

He was the final piece of his family's puzzle. After a short stay in NICU because of a few minor complications, his parents looked forward to simply watching their little boy grow up alongside his siblings, Koby and Ayla.

They could never have imagined that less than two years later, they would be fighting to save their son's life.

When Kole was around six months old, his family noticed he wasn't reaching the same milestones as other babies his age.

After many hospital appointments, Kole was diagnosed with BESS and Global Developmental Delay. As he grew, he also began showing signs of severe autism from a very young age.

His family had to adjust the future they had imagined for him. But one thing never changed.

Kole was perfect just as he was.

Whatever support he needed, his family would be there to give it to him for the rest of his life.

Then, on 28 April 2026, when Kole was just 22 months old, everything changed again.

Kole was diagnosed with Sanfilippo syndrome, often described as childhood dementia.

His family received the devastating news that, without effective treatment, Kole could begin losing the abilities he has worked so hard to develop.

The disease can progressively take away a child's skills as they grow. For Kole's family, that means facing the possibility of watching their little boy lose more and more of himself over time.

But his family is refusing to give up hope.

There are clinical trials taking place around the world, and they are doing everything possible to find an option for Kole.

They are also closely following a potential treatment currently being reviewed by the FDA. The family understands that the estimated cost of accessing treatment could be at least £2 million.

It's an enormous amount of money.

But right now, Kole has something incredibly precious on his side: time.

His diagnosis came while he is still very young, and his family wants to use every moment they have to search for treatment and give Kole every possible chance.

That's why we're asking for your help.

We don't expect one person to give thousands of pounds.

We're asking a community to come together. If two million people gave just £1 each, we could reach Kole's £2 million goal.
