Hi my name is Shinead and I’m fundraising to try and help us pay for life saving surgery for our beautiful 4 year old Cane Corso mastiff.

We noticed a rather large lump on Kia’s ear. Booked her in for a check up and had the vet look at the cells of this lump under a microscope. They were sure it was an MCT (Mast Cell Tumour). They sent it off for further checks and it’s confirmed it is the dreaded tumour.

unfortunately due to Kia’s breed we were unable to get her insured previously and when we did find an insurer it was already too late. Kia had cancer. So now any vet bills we have to pay for!

Kia has has the lump removed which cost us a shocking £996 but the vets have let us know that she’s not out the dark.

the tumour could be an aggressive form and unfortunately she may need to have her ear removed which is going to cost another £996.

we are absolutely gutted as we just can’t afford the surgery but having her out to sleep isn’t an option!

she really is the most sweetest, caring, gentle giant.

please if you can spare even £5 we would really appreciate any help we can get to prolong her life and keep her in our family!

she has 2 boys under the age of 5 that absolutely adore her and we can’t bare to lose her and explain this to our children
