Help Give Kato The Greatest Christmas Gift

Thank you for taking the time to click on my GoFundMe. My name is Ceara and I have organized this fundraiser for a dear friend of mine, Christine Beaudin. Earlier this week Christine noticed a mass located on her beloved dog, Kato. Upon having it biopsied she received the news no pet parent ever wants to hear, lymphoma. Needless to say, the family is devastated.

Prognosis is not known at this point but we would get a better idea after performing additional testing to figure out what type and subtype of lymphoma we're dealing with. As well as chest x-rays and abdominal ultrasound to look for metastases. Treatment would ultimately be determined by an oncologist but generally we're looking at chemotherapy, which can involve multiple visits, additional blood tests to make sure the chemotherapy is not causing adverse effects such as bone marrow suppression, and medications to control any adverse vomiting and diarrhea.

If you are blessed to know Christine then you know she does nothing but give, even when she is already stretched thin her priority is those around her. Her two furry family members, Casper and Kato are her entire universe.

I understand that finances are tight for many these days, with the holidays around the corner there is even more pressure on households to stay afloat.
