My name is Amanda, and I have a beautiful 8 year old son name Kaden. At the hands of a negligent doctor, Kaden through a very traumatic birth, causing serious and permanent injuries. At age 2.5 Kaden was diagnosed with level 3 (severe) autism, and at age 3 he had his first seizure. The pain of seeing my baby have back to back seizures, and becoming non responsive is indescribable, but we stood strong as a family to seek the best medical treatment for Kaden. 

We have traveled throughout Georgia and the surrounding states, seeing countless doctors and medical professionals, in an attempt to control Kaden's seizures. Unfortunately, we have been unsuccessful, and Kaden continues to have several different types of seizures on a regular weekly basis. The seizures have caused brain damage, leaving Kaden with a developmental age of only 4. Kaden is also non verbal, and has a hard time communicating with others.

Kaden has been referred to specialists in Denver, Colorado. These specialists will be able to utilize treatment options that aren't available in this area. These specialists have a high success rate in the treatment of intractable epilepsy, and reversing brain damage caused by seizures.

All funds raised will go directly to Kaden's medical, housing, and travel expenses. We will be driving from Georgia to Colorado. Due to Kaden We will need to make several stops along the way due to Kaden's condition and this being such a long journey. Once we arrive in Colorado, Kaden will immediately begin treatment, which will last for a minimum of 6 months.
