Hello, my name is Iris, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help during the most painful chapter of our lives.

My beloved mother, Josefina Torres Cortes, is in hospice care, facing the final stages of her battle with Stage 4 cervical cancer. Her condition has progressed quickly, and she is now terminal. As a family, we are doing everything we can to keep her comfortable and surrounded by love — but we are also preparing for the heartbreaking reality of saying goodbye.

Funeral and memorial service costs

A burial site and headstone

End-of-life care and support expenses

Josefina is so much more than a diagnosis. She is the heart of our family — a woman who lived with strength, kindness, and deep love. She worked hard her entire life and gave everything she had to those around her. She would take the food out of her own mouth to feed someone else. That’s who she is — selfless, loving, and full of compassion.

Now, we want to honor her the way she lived: with dignity, grace, and love. We want to give her the peaceful, beautiful farewell she deserves.
