Hi everyone, my name is Raquel, and I’m creating this GoFundMe to raise funds to cover the funeral costs for my father, Jorge Garcia, who sadly passed away on June 16. His passing has left our family heartbroken and devastated—we miss him deeply and feel an unimaginable void without him.
Over the past few months, my dad had been in the hospital battling serious health issues. Though he showed incredible strength and even recovered at one point, he continued dialysis treatments due to kidney failure. Despite everything he went through, he remained hopeful and positive all the way to the end. Sadly, his body could no longer keep up the fight, and we lost him.
My dad was an incredible person—kind, generous, and always willing to help others in any way he could. Now, I want to honor him by giving him the respectful and beautiful funeral he deserves.
Unfortunately, my single mother is now facing the heavy burden of covering all the funeral expenses on her own, which is more than she can manage. I’m doing everything I can to support her, alongside my 12-year-old brother, Angel Garcia, but we need help.

Hola a todos, mi nombre es Raquel, y estoy creando esta campaña de GoFundMe para recaudar fondos y cubrir los costos del funeral de mi padre, Jorge García, quien tristemente falleció el 16 de junio. Su partida ha dejado a nuestra familia con el corazón roto y completamente devastada. Lo extrañamos profundamente y sentimos un vacío imposible de llenar. Durante los últimos meses, mi papá estuvo en el hospital luchando contra serios problemas de salud. Aunque demostró una fuerza increíble y logró recuperarse en un momento, tuvo que continuar con tratamientos de diálisis debido a una falla renal.
