Hi,

Jimmi has lived many years with extra-pelvic, deep infiltrating endometriosis. Jimmi is undergoing a laproscopic surgery on 14th October which will likely involve removal of her remaining ovary, and excision of any endometriosis visible to her new surgeon. This will be her eighth surgery.

An incredibly vibrant and curious person, Jimmi has learned to make her own adventures despite needing to stay close to home for so many years, practicing art, gardening and music. She works in a medical office, supporting with kindness and compassion people facing their own challenges and life limitations. Despite being in constant pain with repeated surgeries interrupting her life, she has been denied disability and has to work full-time. She needs, wants and deserves rest and recovery time to heal her body and her heart.

We know everyone is facing challenges that demand attention and solidarity. With apologies for the US medical system that makes "medical debt" and "medical fundraiser" common phrases, this request is for anyone who knows and loves Jimmi, who has capacity to help.
