Help Give Jesse Lyons a Proper Burial

Donation protected
My son Jesse Lyons was 32 and healthy. Jesse was out of state working for Concrete Specialists, LLC in Batesville, Mississippi the week of 4th of July. On July 3, 2024, Jesse was at work laying concrete with his co-workers. Around 9 am through 10 am, Jesse collapsed. His coworkers rushed to him to see what was wrong. They were unable to revive Jesse so they put him in the truck and rushed him to Panola hospital. The coworkers stated that Jesse's heart was still beating but he never woke up. When they reached the hospital and got him to the ER, the doctors said Jesse's heart was not beating. I was told that the doctors worked on Jesse for fifty-five minutes and his temperature was 117 degrees. The hospital announced Jesse was dead at approximately 11:00 am.

Jesse was living with his girlfriend in Paragould, Arkansas for the past year and his employer was based out of Paragould as well.

I'm Jesse's mother, Melissa Lyons, and Jesse lived with me in Mayflower, Arkansas until he decided to move in with his girlfriend. Jesse and I were very close and depended on each other for everything. Especially when his father Bobby Lyons passed away suddenly in August 2016. Losing his father was very traumatic to us both emotionally and financially. We both tried to cope with everything and found comfort in each other.

Jesse had no health issues when he passed and was a very happy young man. So his death should not have happened.

On July 3, 2024 at 1:06 pm, I received a phone call from Panola County Coroners. I answered the phone and the lady on the other end asked if I was Melissa Lyons, the mother of Jesse Lyons, and I answered yes. She began to tell me that Jesse had passed away from heat exhaustion. I didn't understand at first what was going on but as she continued to speak, I realized my son was no longer here on earth with me.

This was my only child and baby boy and he is not supposed to die before me. His job was to bury me first.

Jesse and I have lost most of our family. Jesse had a daughter that he adored and thought of every day. I cannot imagine that little girl not knowing all about her dad and how much he loved her. Jesse's daughter Sadie Lyons moved to New York with her mother Jessica Simpson a year ago. Jesse was taking vacation on July 12, 2024 to go spend a week with Sadie in New York. They both talked about it daily. Now due to his death, this will not happen.

Jesse had no insurance through work and neither did I. Neither one of us had any money saved up for a rainy day. I'm trying my best to get through this tragic loss of my son and plan his funeral but I don't have the money to do this.

I'm needing any help that I can get right now to give my son the proper burial he deserves.
