On behalf of the Martinez family, we are devastated to share the unexpected passing of Johnny “Jay” Martinez, who left us far too soon at just 52 years old. Jay was the heart of his family, a devoted husband to Heidi, his partner of over 30 years, a loving father to five children, a proud papa to eighteen grandchildren, and a bonus dad to three daughters who adored him just the same.

Jay touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He had a way of making people feel seen, loved, and welcomed. But more than anything, being “Papa” was his greatest joy. The grandkids were always asking to go to “Grandpa and Grandma’s,” a place filled with laughter, comfort, and so much love all because of him.

His passing has left an unimaginable hole in the hearts of his family and the many people who loved him. As they navigate this heartbreaking loss, we are asking for support to help with funeral expenses and to give Jay the beautiful farewell he deserves.
