Janet my good friend is a disabled senior who has recently faced a sudden devastation in her life upon the shocking passing of her partner Frank of 30 years. He had under gone a triple bypass heart surgery, and then tragically suffered a sudden blood clot having major complications. His health declined rapidly changing it all… Now Janet is faced heartbroken with this unexpected loss on a limited disability income and must move from her home into a smaller and more and affordable apartment. They were not married so she is not entitled to any of his social security, whose monies were much higher than hers, no life insurance and pensions or any provisions were made before for her before his passing, and the couple has no savings.

She is not only grieving but also is overwhelmed. She needs help to pay for someone to assist her with packing, moving and securing the new place including rent and security deposits. She also cares for two Emotional Support Service dogs, and has two birds to upkeep so every step is that much harder.
