My name is Gloria and this fundraiser is to cover funeral costs for my step-dad, Jaime. A few days ago, Jaime lost consciousness, previous to this he seemed healthy, didnt have any medical issues and was not on any medications.

Once he got to the hospital and tests were performed, we were notified he had no brain activity. Jaime was on a ventilator for a few days but there was no change. His organs began to fail and today (7-16) he passed away. Before this unfortunate incident, Jaime was full of energy, worked super hard everyday to support his family, loved to have cookouts and invite friends and family over, dance, laugh and had the sweetest, kindest, most giving heart. He would give you his last dime, he would take extra home cooked meals to his co- workers and their elderly neighbors. He wanted to help everyone. Now it's our turn to help him, to give him the proper memorial service. There was no insurance and since this was so sudden, we need help. My mom is disabled and cannot work so Jaime was their only source of income. Please consider donating, even if it's a few dollars, every bit helps. My family and Jaime would be forever grateful.

Mi nombre es Gloria y esta colecta es para cubrir los gastos funerarios de mi padrastro, Jaime. Sin previo aviso, Jaime perdió el conocimiento hace unos días. Cuando lo encontraron, tenía un pulso muy débil. Al llegar al hospital y realizarle varios estudios, nos informaron que no tenía actividad cerebral. Jaime estuvo conectado a un ventilador por unos días, pero no hubo ningún cambio. Sus órganos comenzaron a fallar y hoy (16 de julio) falleció.

Antes de este lamentable incidente, Jaime estaba lleno de energía, trabajaba muy duro todos los días para mantener a su familia, le encantaba hacer carnes asadas e invitar a sus amigos y familiares, bailar, reírse, y tenía un corazón dulce, amable y generoso. Te daba hasta su último centavo; llevaba comida casera extra a sus compañeros de trabajo y a los vecinos mayores. Siempre quería ayudar a los demás.

Ahora nos toca a nosotros ayudarlo a él, dándole un servicio memorial digno. No había seguro y como todo fue tan repentino, necesitamos ayuda.
