On 29th April 2026, we sadly lost Ian Dowden.

Ian was one of the kindest and most generous people you could ever meet. No matter what he was going through himself, he would always put other people first and would give anything he could to help someone in need. He had his own battles in life, but his caring nature and loyalty towards the people he loved never changed.

Ian was a much loved son, brother and uncle who absolutely cherished his family. He also had so many friends who became like family to him over the years, and anyone who knew Ian will know how much love he had for the people around him.

As a family, we are asking for any support towards helping give Ian the send off he truly deserves. Every donation, no matter how small, will go towards funeral costs and helping us give him a peaceful and meaningful farewell surrounded by the people who loved him most.

Thank you so much for your kindness, support and donations during such a difficult time. It truly means more than words can say.
