It is with a heavy heart we share my grandfather has passed away. He was not just a husband, but my grandmother’s lifelong companion, her rock, and her world. They built a quiet life together—one filled with love, and small joys. Unfortunately, like so many families, we never planned for the overwhelming costs that come with saying goodbye.

My grandmother is now faced with the unimaginable: trying to plan a proper funeral for the love of her life while also figuring out how to carry on without him—emotionally and financially.

This GoFundMe has been created to help with funeral expenses, and to give my grandmother some breathing room as she learns to navigate this next chapter without her husband.
