On August 1, 2025, our beloved friend and sister Shani Powell experienced a devastating loss no one should have to suffer. Shani's son passed away unexpectedly. While we were aware of his epilepsy diagnosis, this disorder cut a life short in his slumber. We are heartbroken and struggling to come to terms with this loss.

In this difficult time, we want to give Giovanni Amari David the dignified farewell they deserve — a service that reflects their love, kindness, and the beautiful life they lived. Unfortunately, funeral and burial expenses are more than Shani's family can manage right now.

We are reaching out to friends, family, and the community for help. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will go directly toward funeral costs, burial arrangements, and supporting the family through this sudden tragedy.
