Those who know Eve would tell you that she always spreads sunshine wherever she goes. She is consistently going the extra mile to help others. As the Special Education Director in Custer School District, Eve has positively impacted many lives. Unfortunately, in May 2021, Eve developed a neurological disorder that has been debilitating to her life and career. She has seen several doctors and specialists who cannot figure out what is causing her disease. Last month, Eve made an incredibly difficult decision to take a leave of absence from her position for the remainder of the school year to focus on her healing. Eve would like to explore other medical options not covered by insurance while she is on her leave of absence. Some of these options are several states away. The medical and travel expenses over the past year and a half, and the loss of income from her leave of absence, have added up.
