As much as it pains us, we must now prepare to lay to rest a man who always tried to lift others up. Doug Barron lived an extraordinary life, and changed more than a few along the way.

Doug was a loving father, grandfather, and a devoted friend. A beacon of kindness in the community. With his tire shop, he would always try and help anyone in need. Especially the elderly and veterans, but honestly, anyone who was struggling.

Unexpectedly, Doug's health declined and is now in hospice leaving us heartbroken, and unprepared with the cost of a proper funeral.

His absence has left a void in our lives, and we want to honor his memory in a way he truly deserves.

No one should have to worry about funeral costs during such a difficult time. Your support will help us focus on healing and remembering Doug.

His burial site has been acquired, yet we are left with the hardship of preparing a proper funeral. Embalming, we have been told by the funeral home, will cost us $7,000 or else we are forced to bury him within 24 hours of his passing. Direct burial with no service is $5,660, but with the help of our friends, family, and the Gofundme community, we're praying that we can reach our goal for a propper burial so that we may celebrate his incredible life.

Every Sunday, Doug could be found watching, or atleast talking about NASCAR. He was a familiar face in the Racing community and will always be remembered as the North Star for our families love for the sport.

The sound of his laughter, the warmth of his smile—these are the memories we hold onto as we navigate this loss.
