My father, Dennis Carstens, passed away Wednesday, July 30th at 5:50 am at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital in Grass Valley, CA from chronic pneumonia caused by COPD. I had been his sole care provider since June 2022. This was a full-time, non-paying job, with many rewards. I cherish the time we were able to spend. This has left me without means to pay for the cremation or any type of memorial.

His wishes were for his remains to be with the walleye that he spent his free time trying to catch.
