Help Give De’Arreon a Proper Homegoing
Donation protected
Hi, this is my son De’Arreon who recently lost his battle with cancer on April 8th at the Helen Devos Children’s Hospital. He was diagnosed with a very rare brain tumor cancer called pineoblastoma in Dec. 2021. He underwent surgery to remove the tumor, followed by radiation and chemotherapy, two rounds of each. Unfortunately his cancer came back in his brain and his spine During his chemotherapy treatments. While fighting this terminal illness he still went to school daily and made straight A’s. De’Arreon was a very strong and loving young boy he was loved by everyone. De’Arreon leaves behind three brothers and a five year old sister. In his free time, he made sure to read his Bible. He was VERY spiritual and definitely kept God first. He started writing a book about his journey to help and encourage other kids battling cancer unfortunately, he was unable to finish. He made a HUGE impact on anyone he came in contact with. He loved the spotlight and didn’t mind it at all, even in his toughest times. De’Arreon live with his 22 year old autistic brother and his 5 year old sister everyday has been very hard for us not being able to see him and talk with him. I’m very fortunate to been able to take off work these last 3 years to take care him on his journey I will always love and miss him. Any donations we receive will go towards his funeral expenses, food, clothing, housing cost and utilities for his other siblings we are very grateful for all the donations so far our family really appreciate each and everyone one of you. Unfortunately, with terminal illness, it’s SUPER hard to get life insurance. We, the family, don’t have the funds to give him the proper homegoing he deserves. ANYTHING helps; we are truly grateful and appreciative for EVERYTHING.
