I'm raising funds for my best friend since high school, Darryl Johnson Jr., and for his mom as she faces an unimaginable loss. Darryl was killed on his way to work while riding his electric scooter in a road rage shooting. He was one of the most caring and thoughtful people I know, and losing him like this has been heartbreaking.

This fundraiser is to help Darryl's mom with funeral and burial expenses and to support the family as they plan a candlelight and balloon release in his honor. She is grieving the loss of her child for the first time while also caring for her four other children.
