Help Give Cullen a Beautiful Memorial

No father should ever have to bury his son. Children are supposed to bury their parents, not the other way around. But not everyone is so lucky. One of my best friends in the whole world is preparing to do just that. Matt Johnson and his family are currently spending what little time they have left with his son Cullen in the hospital before he passes.

Cullen was diagnosed with a rare cancer in 2017. The treatment was aggressive, and up to that point, nobody had ever survived it. However, 2 years later, he had survived the treatment and was also cancer-free.

That said, the cancer and the treatment took their toll, and his time on this earth is coming to an end. He is back in the hospital with his family for whatever little time he has left.

The last thing any parent needs to worry or think about at a time like this is the planning and cost of a funeral for the child they are trying to spend and cherish every last second with; as any second may very well be the last.

I’m hoping to help ease the burden of this by taking away the worry and stress of the financial portion that will come with the funeral.

They have some money saved for this very heartbreaking reality. But with the cost of hospice care having been added to the situation, they could really use some help.

All money will be going toward the funeral costs and/or hospice care bills. Let’s help give this family and Cullen the beautiful memorial and celebration of life that a young child taken too soon from this world truly deserves.
