Help Give Coach Joe Johnson an Electric Scooter
Donation protected
Help us give back this Christmas to a man who has given so much to our children!
Santa Monica's beloved Coach Joe Johnson suffered a debilitating stroke over 3 years ago. Joe had been an inspiration to hundreds of Santa Monica's kids - coaching at Franklin Elementary, Lincoln Middle and Santa Monica High Schools. He guided our kids with kindness, strength and humor, always putting their well-being first. As a coach and big brother, he expected them to be their very best and to give their very best to others.
Coach Joe's stroke, combined with the COVID pandemic has made an already challenging situation more complicated. With limited mobility, social isolation has been hard to overcome.
This year, for Christmas, we are hoping to directly and significantly improve Coach Joe's life by buying him the Revo 2.0 4-wheel electric scooter, which will allow him to both get out of his home by electric wheelchair/scooter and easily disassemble and transport the scooter when needed, including to doctors' appointments and physical therapy.
At $1,839 plus tax, we are hoping to raise at least $2,500 to give Coach Joe the Christmas present that will significantly improve his life. Make this a season of giving and hope by supporting this effort. Show Coach Joe the love he's shown our kids over the years by donating today!
