Hi everyone,

Pets and animals enrich our lives in so many ways; they are our companions, our loyal friends, sometimes our safe heaven, but most importantly they are our family.

For the animal lovers amongst us we love and appreciate the unconditional loyalty and comfort they provide for us on a daily basis; so when our pet passes away tragically and unexpectedly, our hearts get blown into pieces the exact same way as if we lost a beloved family member or a child.

Chub was that child to Jacob. Chubs was only a year and a half when he was diagnosed with kidney issues that looked like it would be a death sentence for Chubs. But with veterinary care and support from our office team Chubs was starting to recover, gain weight, and return to his normal self. While being on meds Chubs was coming into the office with Jacob for two weeks, and we all saw him progress, get better, and his energy was growing. We were all thrilled by this positive turn of events and we also saw that Jacob was starting to gain his confidence in Chub's full recovery.

Unfortunately, Chubs' life ended abruptly when he was playing with his ball; he ran out on the street after his ball and got hit by a car.

We ask kindly that you would help Jacob cover Chub's medical bills, which have accumulated from his hospital stays to treat his kidneys, as well as the cost it will take to give Chubs a restful sleep. Jacob has been through a lot in the past couple of months in his personal life, and we want to soothe his pain as much as possible with your help, because Chub's vet bills, as well as his burial, is the last thing we want him to worry about while he is mourning the loss of his best friend.
