Hi, my name is Michelle Green, and I created this Go Fund Me on behalf of my best friend, Candice Nieves, who recently lost her beloved brother, Christopher Nieves or as friends may have known him "Omen".

As some may know my brother, Christopher Nieves, was being held in Brooklyn's central booking on Friday, August 29, 2025, where he unexpectedly died, due to the neglect of the court personnel/court officers not providing him the medical attention he needed.

Chris had a troubled life, if you know him you know, but he also had a big heart and really cared for his family and friends. Chris didn't have much, financially, so never had life insurance and although, it is not like us to ask anyone for anything, help is needed at this time just to give him the proper funeral services he deserves. I don't care if one can only contribute $5, it is something.
