Hi, my name is Vinod and I am fundraising to improve learning conditions for children in The Gambia.

In March 2026, I will be travelling to The Gambia to support schools that urgently need access to basic essentials many of us take for granted.

I am raising funds to help provide:

• Clean water access

• Classroom fans to cope with extreme heat

• Essential learning equipment and supplies

• Other critical resources identified directly with local schools

In temperatures that often exceed 35°C, many children are expected to learn without fans, reliable water, or adequate classroom equipment. These conditions make learning incredibly difficult — but relatively small interventions can have a huge, immediate impact.

My Fundraising Goal

£2,000+

Every pound raised will go directly towards school equipment and resources.

✈️ All travel and accommodation costs are being personally funded by me, so donations are used solely for the cause.

Why Your Support Matters

This fundraiser is about making practical, visible improvements that directly benefit children and teachers. Whether it’s a fan that makes a classroom bearable or access to clean water that keeps pupils healthy, your support will help create a safer and more effective learning environment.

Any donation — big or small — will make a real difference.

Thank you so much for supporting this cause and helping to create lasting change.
