We opened our cat cafe on October 4th, 2025 with 8 beautiful, adoptable cats.
In the past 6 months, we have grown the number of cats we are able to house and now host around 15-20 cats at a time. We have helped over 50 cats find their forever homes, allowing for more cats to be saved from euthanasia.
Our facility provides the extra space needed to give our rescue partner the ability to take in more strays and continue saving high risk cats. Samantha, who is now in her forever home, was a pregnant cat at the West Virginia High Kill Shelter who would have been euthanized had she not been brought to our cat cafe. We have pushed through the largest snowstorm Maryland has seen in a decade, walking through the snowstorm to ensure the cats never missed a meal.
Within our Cat Lounge, the cats have freedom from a cage to explore and meet adopters face to face. There are private spaces provided for them when they need to decompress or use the restroom. We heavily invested into our space early on to give these cats the best life possible, and are now struggling to make payments that could lead us to closing our doors.
We will continue to push through these uncertain times in our mission of providing a third space for the community & serving its cats. All we need is a bit of help to keep the doors open while we make adjustments to create sustainability within the business to help more cats have the opportunity to find their forever homes.
Any and all support helps ᓚ₍^..^₎♡
