Help Give Caley More Time with Brad & Their Boys
Donation protected
My name is Caley Ashpole. I’m 40 years old, married to Brad, and together we’re raising our two beautiful sons, Ike (12) and Moss (10).
This past year has felt surreal. On Christmas Eve, I received a phone call from my GP that changed everything: I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Further testing revealed it had already metastasised to my bones, including my spine. The cancer is aggressive, incurable, and terminal.
There is no way to prepare for hearing news like that. No guide to grieving the future and still trying to live in the present. No roadmap to break that news to your children. We are doing our best to shield them from this knowledge and preserve the naivety of their childhood from this burden, for as long as possible.
Everything I’d imagined: growing old with Brad, watching our boys graduate and fall in love, maybe become dads themselves, now hangs in the balance.
Yet there is hope. With access to the right treatments my days here with them can be extended. These options come at a steep cost and my ability to work has been taken by the illness itself. The emotional toll is enormous, but so is the financial one. Until now I’ve hesitated to ask for help, but I’ve come to understand that asking is part of this journey. Placing my hope in community, in kindness, in the possibility that together, we can create more time.
Every dollar donated will go directly toward giving me more time with Brad and our boys. To be here for more birthdays. More beach walks. More family dinners. More life, but I can’t do it alone.
If you’re able to help, even in the smallest way, you’ll be giving me what I need most: time with the people I love.
Thank you for holding hope with me. Please follow and share my journey on instagram @caleyashpole .
We love and appreciate each of you and are eternally grateful for your support.
