Help give Brookey a much needed break

The aim of this fundraiser is to give Brooke something to look forward to and to realise how much she means to us all!<
Our names are Samm, Sage and Mel and we are fundraising to try and take the pressure off our beautiful friend, who is going through the hardest time.
I don’t think there is anyone that has not been impacted from the events of 2020, but some have definitely done it tougher than others. In particularly my much-loved friend Brookey-Brookey.
Brooke is a 34 year old woman with a heart of gold, someone who is kind, caring, loyal and a true friend. A friend who would do absolutely anything for anyone in need, yet rarely asks for help herself. We are starting this Go Fund Me page to support her and her family knowing that it is exactly what she would do for someone else in her situation.
Anyone that knows Brooke, will tell you their life was made better because she is in it. The world is a significantly better place with Brooke here and she is one of few people who is entirely and genuinely filled with love and light. She is the kindest, most generous soul you will ever have the privilege of knowing. She is always doing what she can to give to others and now it is time we give to her.
As most of you know, Brooke has had an extremely tough year and is undergoing some treatment to fight the illnesses attacking her body and mind.
Four years ago, Brooke was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia, as you could imagine; this takes a toll on her body at the best of times.
In recent months Brooke’s world has been devastated with her diagnosis of further illnesses and being stuck at home for the majority of the year due to Covid. In Brooke’s current state, it is not possible to operate and the treatment to get her to the point of being able to safely operate is a long and emotional ride. The goal is for her to have surgery when it is safe to do so.
These diseases do not just attack Brooke’s body physically, they also attack her mind, making it extremely difficult to continue fighting what seems like an uphill battle with no end in sight. We have created this fundraiser to give Brooke something positive to look forward to and to see the light at the end of what was a very dark year.
Brooke’s partner Scott has been her rock throughout this mess and does his absolute best to be there for her and their 5 boys (aged 5-18). He too shares the emotional load that Brooke carries so we know this will mean the world to them both.

Any funds raised, will first and foremost go directly towards providing Brooke and her family with a well-deserved break. Something for her to look forward to, be excited about and to look back on. For as long as I can remember, all Brooke has ever dreamed of, is to cross over state borders and take her boys on a holiday.
