Help give Blessing Friday a proper farewell

On behalf of my colleague Godswill, we are humbly asking for financial assistance. His sister, Blessing Friday—a 45-year-old single mother to an 8-year-old son—was diagnosed with cancer last year. Despite undergoing chemotherapy, Blessing Umoren lost her courageous battle on 26/05/2025.

Blessing is a loving mother, a devoted sister, and a beautiful soul, she was the heart of family. She fought her illness with unwavering strength and grace, all while being the sole caregiver and fierce protector of her son, Wills.

Throughout her illness, her greatest worry was not for herself, but for the future of her little boy. As a single mother, she gave everything she had to ensure he felt safe, loved, and hopeful — even in the darkest of days.

We're raising funds to help cover:

Funeral and burial costs to lay her to rest with the dignity and peace she deserves.

Educational support for her son to ensure he continues to grow in a stable, loving environment and has access to the opportunities she wanted for him.

Godswill, a kind and hardworking man, is doing everything he can, but he needs support during this difficult time. Any contribution, big or small, will go a long way in helping lay Blessing to rest with dignity.
