Help Give Bev A Gentle Goodbye

Hi friends,

This sweet 14 year old chihuahua poodle mix was named Beverly (affectionately called Bev). She was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a large inoperable tumor on her abdomen. It made it difficult for her to move around, or get comfortable and eventually inhibited her ability to walk and breathe. Because of her decline in the last few weeks she required around the clock care. Her Dad is a dedicated English teacher at one of North Carolina’s middle schools and unfortunately he was unable to take time off from work to provide the care that she needed. He’s brokenhearted and on April 12th due to help from caring individuals like you, she was made comfortable through veterinarian assisted euthanasia.

We raised enough to provide her veterinarian assisted euthanasia and we were able to schedule her subsequent cremation.

We are extremely grateful for the support we have received. We wanted to ensure Bev had a compassionate, dignified passing and she did.

Every donation, no matter the size, helped to honor her 14 years of life with the kindness she deserved.
