The sweet light of our life Barney (my granddog) has been diagnosed with a mass on his liver. Of course my son Brian and daughter-in-law Lorie, are in no way ready to give up on him. As one of Barney’s Grandmas I have become so close to him and can’t bear the thought of him not being here. He has got so much love to give and once you meet him, it is hard not to feel a connection to this soft furry little gentleman. His fur is as soft as silky cotton, he has big round warm brown eyes, his little head is so very kissable, and he loves bowing his head so grandma can scratch his floppy little ears or flopping on his side for tummy rubs.

Lorie & Brian rescued their sweetheart 4 years ago and if you are friends with Brian on Facebook you will know how important this fur-baby is in their lives. Their bus conversion was done so that Barney is able to accompany his Mama & Papa on any adventure.

His vet bills to date have reached $2,500 but his upcoming CT & surgery are estimated at $8,200 +/-.

We know there are many people in the world and even maybe in your own families suffering for whatever reason and we certainly respect folks’ decisions to make their own important choices on helping out if you can. We just can’t bear to give up on this boy at this time. If you ever got to meet him, you might understand why.
