Hi, my name is Terrence Greer, son of Barbara Greer. Unfortunately, she passed away on June 18th, 2025. She leaves behind a son and a daughter. Barbara Greer suffered with a long life battle of sickle cell anemia. She was never able to gain employment due to several lengthy hospitalizations throughout her whole life. She was never able to obtain life insurance due to her illness. Barbara Greer was a single mother born in Chicago, Illinois, and her wishes were to return to her hometown where the rest of her family are still living. We would like to give her a proper burial and really have a celebration of life for a lady who has been a highly respected neighborhood mother, dropping wisdom and positivity on anyone who crossed paths with her.
