My uncle, Arkadiusz Majerczak, sadly passed away on 30th August 2025 at the young age of 48.

He had a wonderful sense of humor and could always make people laugh, but what stood out even more was how caring he was. In our last conversation, he told me: “Take care of your mum, because you only have one.” Those words will stay with me forever, because they show exactly the kind of man he was — thoughtful, loving, and always putting family first.

He now leaves behind his son, my cousin Marcel, who had only just turned 17 years old. At such a young age, losing a father is incredibly difficult, and on top of the grief, the family is now faced with the heavy financial burden of funeral costs.

The estimated cost of giving my uncle Arek the farewell he deserves is around £8,000, which includes:

If we are blessed to receive more than this amount, any extra funds will go towards supporting his 17-year-old son, Marcel, as he faces new challenges in life without his dad’s support.
