On Wednesday, our hearts were shattered. Amy, just 34 years old, passed away suddenly, leaving behind her two beautiful daughters — Lily (15) and Maisy (8)

Amy was a devoted mother, daughter to Joanna and Kevin, and a loving sister to Michael and Daniel. Her passing has left the entire family completely devastated.

Amy was a single parent, and her girls meant everything to her. With this tragedy, Michael, Daniel’s and Amy’s mum has lovingly stepped in to take care of Lily and Maisy, doing everything she can to keep their lives stable during the most painful time imaginable.

Amy’s, Michael’s and Daniel’s dad desperately wants to be there for them, but he suffered a cardiac arrest in May, spent two weeks in a induced coma, and then five months in hospital recovering from severe complications, including a brain injury. He is now in supported accommodation receiving rehabilitation to learn and regain mobility and bodily functions. Due to his recent ill health, there is only so much he can do.

Despite everything this family has been through, they are not eligible for any government help. They are doing their very best, but the funeral costs along with the sudden financial responsibility of raising two children — have become overwhelming.

Amy deserves the most beautiful, dignified send-off, and Maisy and Lily deserve stability and support during this unimaginable loss.
