Amos is my 14-year-old rescue dog, and he’s been my loyal companion since I adopted him from a shelter in Eureka, California. He and his littermates were abandoned in a rainstorm as puppies, but Amos has always shown incredible resilience and love. He’s half chow, half pit, and while he’s the most neurotic dog I’ve ever had, he’s also the most caring and affectionate. Over the years, Amos has been by my side through thick and thin, and I can’t imagine life without him.

Recently, Amos’s health has declined rapidly. He hasn’t eaten properly in weeks, and when he does, he can’t keep it down. He’s lost a lot of weight, dropping from 80 to 60 pounds, and his condition has become very serious. I’ve tried everything I can to help him, but it’s clear that it’s time to say goodbye. It breaks my heart to see him like this, but I want to make sure he’s comfortable and at peace.

I’m asking for help to cover the cost of cremation so I can give Amos the respectful farewell he deserves and keep his ashes with me. I’ve never had to ask for help before, but after a back injury, I’m now on Social Security and can’t afford this on my own.
