I’m trying to help raise money for my good friend Jamie and her beloved pup, Allie.

Jamie got Allie 7 years ago when she was battling severe PTSD, depression, and anxiety, and Allie saved her. She got her off the couch, gave her a reason to keep moving and going. Allie underwent rigorous protection training and is just an angel on earth.

Allie was recently diagnosed with cancer. They don’t know which type it is without removing it, which would not be a guarantee and could affect her quality of life for the time she has left. However, there are some treatments that can help her body fight to reduce tumor size on its own and help Allie have more time with Jamie. One of which is time in a hyperbaric chamber that is a few towns away. Jamie took Allie for her first treatment today and needs some help getting her to some more sessions. They are $90 per 90 min session. The idea behind the hyperbaric therapy is that cancer does not like oxygen, so you put the dog (or person, pet, etc.) into an oxygen chamber for a while to give their body time to breathe deeply and relax while the oxygen does its thing. There are success stories of hyperbaric chambers helping to shrink tumors by half or more and at a much more affordable price point than chemo or surgeries. The therapies still add up though, and the more we fundraise, the more sessions Allie can have.

Jamie is also taking Allie to 3x weekly PEMF appointments that are $25 each.

We are hopeful that these, along with switching to a raw diet and some supplements, will help give Jamie as much time with her sweet girl as possible.

I have had the pleasure to know Allie for a few years now, and she has always been such a sweet and loving gal to me. She is great with kids and has so many who love her. After losing my own heart dog to cancer, I wish I had known more about cancer and these treatment options to have gotten more quality time with her, and it is on my heart to help Allie as much as I can with that love on my heart.
