Help Give Alice Valenzuela the Farewell She Deserves

Dear Friends, Family and Chosen Family,

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the untimely passing of Norma Valenzuela or some of you knew her as Alice Valenzuela. To so many she was known as the jester of the crowd, the shoulder to lean on, the elaborate storyteller, the selfless giver who was a constant support to those in need or the life of the party. She was loud and proud and without a doubt always genuinely herself. From all walks of life Alice was sure to make friends and leave an everlasting impact. Her personality was unmatched! This rambunctious wild human being whom we all loved dearly has not only left her physical form but us with unforgettable memories and life lessons.

We would like to have a nice funeral for her but there is one issue for her daughters and that being costs. They would love to have a service in her honor for all her friends, and family or anyone who cared for her can show up and honor her memory and we know there’s a lot of people. Alice always taught her girls to look at the positives in life despite the negatives, appreciate what they have over what they don’t, and that everything in life is a blessing. She has earned every aspect of our love and support, we hope she’s earned it with everyone else close to her too.

Jazmine and Candice have started this funeral fundraiser along with their close family to help cover the cost of her funeral expenses. Due to the unexpected loss, our family was not prepared for the high cost of these expenses. During this difficult time, we are reaching out to the community of friends & family for their gracious donations that are greatly appreciated. Any amount contributed brings us that much closer to our goal of providing Alice with the eternal rest and happiness her soul so truly deserves.
