Attending university has always been my dream, but it has never been easily accessible to me. I’ve faced obstacle after obstacle just trying to get here. I attended Turkish state schools, and despite being a British national with excellent grades, I cannot enter a UK university directly. My only possible route into higher education is an international foundation year costing £28,000. This isn’t a choice for me, it’s my only chance.

I’ve worked multiple jobs since I was 17, supporting myself and my family and have lived independently in the UK since I was 21, doing everything I can to support myself. I have no family help, no safety net, and no stability. My father is in prison, and every bill, every meal, and every step forward has depended entirely on me. I’ve fought through anxiety, depression, and exhaustion, and still achieved a 94% average in year 12. Recently, I was offered an unconditional offer to study at King’s College London. I am so close to realising my dream.

But now, at 23, I’ve reached a breaking point. Without help, years of effort could end here. If I cannot pay for this foundation year, my dream of higher education ends. I’m not asking for comfort or luxury, only the chance to study and build a future.

Please help me get the university education I’ve worked so hard for. Any donation, no matter how small, means more than I can express. Thank you.
