My name is Albert D. Garcia, and with the heaviest heart a father can carry, I need to share that my oldest son, Albert C. Garcia, was found dead early Saturday morning at Civic Center Park. He was just 32 years old—so full of life, with his 33rd birthday coming next month. My son had been working so hard to build a better life for himself. He had just moved into his own apartment, he was working part-time, and even volunteering at church. We were so proud of him. We had just helped him furnish his place, and it felt like a new chapter was beginning for him.
I was told he was found alone… no foul play suspected. But I can’t help but feel that he was let down—possibly abandoned by people he trusted. He didn’t deserve to die like that. Alone.
Now I am faced with the unimaginable task no parent should ever have to face, burying my child.
I want to give my son the beautiful, dignified burial he deserves. It’s the final thing I can do for him. I’m humbly reaching out for any support; anything and everything is appreciated, to help me lay my firstborn to rest.
Please share this message. And thank you, from the depths of my heart. God bless!
Albert Cleveland Garcia
July 24th 1992 – May 31st -2025
Albert Cleveland Garcia, of Denver Colorado, passed away on May 31st 2025, at the age of 32. A man of quiet strength and steady focus, Albert lived life on his own terms–curious, thoughtful, and always searching for meaning beyond the surface.
He was a free spirit with a mind that never stopped turning. Drawn to the mysteries of the world, Albert had a deep interest in conspiracy theories-not from fear, but from a desire to understand, to question, to know more than what was simply shown. He was smart, goal-oriented, and driven, yet forgiving and open-hearted.
Though reserved, Albert had a sense of humor that surfaced in unexpected, perfectly timed moments-reminders that beneath his calm exterior was a mind that delighted in wit and observation. He moved through life with quiet purpose, and those who truly knew him felt the depth of his loyalty, his insight, and his sincerity.
Albert is survived by his father, Albert D. Garcia (Amber Vice); his mother, Priscilla Flood, Maria A. Flood (Leroy Hurtado); and his grandmother Isabel Ahuja.
He is also survived by his siblings: Bernadette Littlethunder (48), Jessica Littlethunder (45), Maurice Littlethunder (40), Anthony S. Casillas (31), Antquant M. Flood (30), Albert "Dominick" Griego Garcia (29), Adrian J. Baca (29), Rachel E. Flood (28), Renna M. Bautista Flood (25), Leona M. Hurtado Flood (21), and Cleveland T. Flood (16).
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Cleveland Flood, Albert P. Garcia (Mary Ellis Garcia), his grandmother Virginia Herrera.
Albert will be deeply missed, always remembered, and forever loved by those whose lives he touched with his quiet wisdom, free-spirited nature, and enduring presence.
