My name is Alissa and this little guy is Aki. I found Aki scared, alone, and coated head to toe in urine, running the streets of downtown Portland. Our shelters here are struggling, all of them at capacity with not enough help. I couldn’t bring myself to drop him off somewhere he would be alone and scared with not enough manpower to truly help him. So I’ve decided to do what I can to take care of Aki by fostering him. I already have 3 pets of my own and I can’t afford Aki’s vet bills. We think he’s been on the street his whole life so he is unvaccinated, unfixed, never treated for parasites.
