Help Abdallah and his family to rebuild their lives

Donation protected
Help Abdallah’s family in Gaza.

Everyone is exhausted and malnourished.
Abdallah and his family are no different to others who are barely surviving in these horrendous conditions.

Finding food is a daily struggle and the prices are extortionate.

Without work and money their resources are very limited.

Please help by donating what you can to help Abdallah’s family buy food and essentials.

Thank you for keeping Abdallah and his family in your thoughts and prayers, and for your generosity. https://gofund.me/ff049072

When we started this Gofundme for Abdallah it was to Help Evacuate Abdallah`s Family out of Gaza Genocide. Now we are fundraising for their basic survival needs.

I’ve set up this campaign on behalf of my Palestinian friend Abdallah.

Abdallah and his family were displaced from their home which has been destroyed. They are currently living in Rafah Camp in the south of the Gaza Strip.

Homelessness, cold, wet weather, sickness, lack of medicine, not enough food all add to the misery of living in the midst of a war.

Please help me in getting this family to safety in Egypt by donating whatever you can and kindly share this campaign with your friends, family, and on your social platforms.

Even a small donation, the price of a coffee will make a difference to my friend’s family to make a new life for themselves.

If you can’t spare anything to donate please share.

Thank you
Rory

Abdallah`s message: The background of his family:

My name is Abdallah Sayed Ahmed Abu Al-Qaraya. I`m 23 years old from Palestine, Gaza Strip. My family consists of 9 individuals as the following:
My mother, my father who is currently trapped in Gaza city, my two younger sisters Shaimaa and Jenin, my two oldest brothers Hani and Mahmoud, my sister`s husband Salama and their daughter Mayaar.

I had many ambitions and dreams that were destroyed. I was living with my family in Zayed neighborhood, an area that Israeli occupation have bombed and destroyed it on the seventh of October.
First, the Israeli occupation bombed the house next to us, which led to injuries to my brother’s right leg.

The heavy bombing and the smell of the missiles were suffocating. We left our bombed home and rushed to Al-Shefa hospital, where we stayed for a month in an attempt to treat our injuries and to stay safe before we have left to the south of Gaza strip. After several days, the Israelis announced ground invasion into Gaza, and we found that the army had come very close to us. We began to hear the clashes. The sounds of the heavy bombing made us wishing for death day and night. As we were in a closed military area, there was no enough food, no water and only death surrounded us.

The reason for wanting to leave Gaza:
Since I was young, I have witnessed five wars: the 2008 war, the 2012 war, the 2014 war and recently this genocide. In the current genocide, our homes and dreams were destroyed. We don’t know where on earth to go because we have been displaced 6 times so far!
Our lives have suddenly changed and became unbearable. All we want is to live with dignity, practice our simple life as usual. This genocide has only left suffering, diseases, and a slow painful death. Israeli occupation has bombed more than 36 hospitals so far. The majority of hospitals have become out of service because of the Israeli occupation bombing.
Now, we are living in a humble tent at Rafah Camp. We constructed our tent using plastic, so we are suffering from freezing temperatures. We are living under permanent fear. Therefore, we are desperately in need for your help.

How your donation will save the lives of this family:
Through the Egyptian authorities, there is an opportunity for this family to leave Gaza strip and start a new life in Egypt. We have already some relatives in Cairo. Therefore, your donation will be spent on traveling process as the following:
1. The Egyptian authorities are demanding $5000 per adult for the Rafah crossing permit and the coordination of the transit from Gaza to Egypt. There is a total of 8 adults in my family. They are asking for anywhere between $1000 - $2000 per child.
2. $10000 will be spent on setting up the life of Abo Al-Qaraya family in Egypt; the purchase of clothes, renting a home, food, medication, and other needed things.
3. Approximately, $2000 - $3000 will be used to cover the fees associated with this GoFundMe.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for your supporting. We really appreciate your efforts and every single minute you spent reading this story.

Thank you for read this far, how ever much you can spare to help my family I'm forever grateful.
