On the night of August 19th, I was out walking when I heard tiny meows coming from under a car. After sitting patiently on the road for nearly an hour, while she inched closer and cirled around me, this young cat (she has such a tiny face and paws!) finally trusted me enough to approach me. With the help of my partner, we gently placed her in a box and brought her home to safety.

Right now, she’s settling in and doing well. She’s eaten, used a makeshift litter box, and is resting comfortably in our bathroom on a heating pad. She’s sweet, curious, very chatty, and already showing signs that she just wants love and care.
