Help Give A Single Mother The Funeral She Deserves
Donation protected
Just before midnight on December 14th, 2020, our beloved Trudy Bjornson passed away from Coronvirus. Trudy was an amazing single mother who worked for Oscar Mayer, in Madison, Wisconsin, for 15 years all while raising her daughter (Hanna), as well as caring for many people and animals too. Trudy was always hard working with a positive attitude. Whenever you saw Trudy, you always saw her with a smile and felt the good she put out into the world.
In life, Trudy loved swimming, going on adventures with her daughter and spending time with her dogs (Max and Missie). Always with a generous heart, Trudy was dependable for helping people in need.
In March 2020, Trudy was diagnosed with Stage 3 Esophageal Cancer. Over the next three months, Trudy underwent extensive chemotherapy with radiation treatments. By June 2020, Trudy's cancer had gone into remission. Our overjoyment would turn out to be temporary . . .
Sadly, on November 16th 2020, Trudy tested positive for Covid-19. Almost immediately Trudy was rushed to the UnityPoint Meriter Hospital, in Madison, WI, where she stayed for the next 28 days, the last 25 days of which she spent on a ventilator. Trudy did not return from her initial sedation. The Coronavius did catastrophic damage to her respiratory system and her lungs were hardened beyond recovery. Late on December 14th, 2020, Trudy's body gave out from the ravages of the illness. She was 57 years young.
Trudy was strong and bright; a lighthouse in the dark to all who knew her. We are deeply heartbroken she lost her battle. Our pain is deep. We will always be proud of her.
When Trudy died, she did not have life insurance. This has caused a tremendous hardship on the family with funeral expenses. Please, any donations are welcome and would go straight towards funeral expenses. We want to give Trudy the memorial she truly deserves to honor her memories and say our last goodbye.
Thank You Dearly,
