Our precious boy Giuseppe has been the best cat anyone could ask for. He’s been such a source of joy and comfort during difficult times. Recently he was diagnosed with an eye condition that requires urgent surgical treatment.

He has developed a condition called entropion, which has caused (and likely been worsened by) multiple painful eye infections and ulcers. If not treated he will eventually lose his eye. His surgery is estimated to cost about $2,000, which includes the surgery, anesthesia, etc. Unfortunately, this is far more than we can afford on our own right now.

Giuseppe isn’t just a pet, he’s family. He’s turns 4 this year, and we’ve had him since he was a precious tiny 5 week old baby we had to bottlefeed. He’s grown into the sweetest and handsomest boy who we are so proud of. Through hard times, a cross country move, and multiple hurricanes that devastated our area he’s been so sweet and incredibly well behaved.

Whenever either his feline or human family members are in distress he’s always the first to check on them. He loves getting head scratches and kisses from his humans, burrowing under blankets, wrestling with his brother, and asking nicely for his favorite treats and pate. He steals the heart of anyone who meets him. His veterinarians, through all of his numerous and painful appointments, have declared him the sweetest cat they’ve ever treated.
