Help Giulia Heal – Support Her 3-6 Month Recovery

Hi, my name is Lili, and I am raising funds to support my best friend, Giulia, on her long road to recovery.

Six years ago, I found myself in a hospital bed after a major track accident that left me in a wheelchair. It was one of the most painful and isolating experiences of my life. I longed for my mother’s presence, for someone to hold my hand—but I was alone.

Now, my best friend Giulia is facing her own battle after a tragic accident in Perth. Just five days ago, she fell from a 4.5-meter height, suffering multiple severe injuries, including:

Fractures in her vertebrae (C7), cheekbone, and left eye

A broken superior pubic ramus and left sacroiliac joint

A miraculous escape from permanent brain damage

Giulia has spent her entire career helping others. As a physiotherapist, she has dedicated the past five years to treating patients with severe brain injuries. Her passion for healing brought her to Perth, where she was taking advanced courses to improve her skills.

Now, it’s time for us to help her.

She faces months of recovery, unable to work or walk for the foreseeable future. She will need to relocate to Sydney, where her strongest support network is, but the cost of rent and medical expenses will be overwhelming.

I have already booked my own flight to be by her side, covering all costs myself, but I want to ensure Giulia has everything she needs:
